So today, making her 2nd appearance in as many weeks, please welcome back to the blog, Bevan!!



(I do have other friends, you guys, I swear.) However, none are as adept in the art and science of smoothie making. So, when she gchatted me on Wednesday with the following message, it was a no-brainer that she should once again take the spotlight this week:

I was like, “well we can’t rob everyone’s taste buds of the opportunity to try it, do you mind if I feature it on Foodstuff Friday?!” Actually, since this was gchat, we have the transcripts and my exact words were:

The smoothie currently has a couple names in development:

  1. Tropical Sundance Smoothie
  2. Best Spring Smoothie Ever
  3. The Best F*cking Tropical Day Smoothie



Les Ingrédients:

  • One scoop of Vega One tropical protein powder
  • Handful of frozen mango
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 cups of coconut water
  • 1 Tbsp of maca powder
Blend all that stuff together:

And call it a day.

Question for you: what time of day do you usually drink smoothies? Breakfast time? Afternoon? Pre or post workout? Other?

  4. TGIF! I have to admit, I sometimes have smoothies for dinner! I love ice cream at night… which is horrible so instead I substitute dinner with a peanut butter or chocolate smoothie! HA! Some days it is just the only way I can make up for the fruits and vegggies I missed!

      Oh that’s a great idea! I think I’ll try them for dinner sometime- I feel like that would be really good in the summer especially!
