    I need to go through my archives and it’s so true- some of my favourite ones were the least read (based on the comments…I write a serious post about food obsessions or something, use an oatmeal picture and the comments are ‘omg I love oatmeal love the recipe). Twat.

  11. I completely think that some posts are amazing and am so excited about them and then I get a kind of lackluster response. While other posts I took two seconds to throw together end up being hits. I have no idea! But if I can discern a pattern, I’ll have the key to success…maybe.

    On a blog note, which is totally different than a side note, I do check my stats, religiously although I try not to let them drive what I do, especially since I cannot predict what people will or will not like. Crazy.

  15. Everyone I know thinks I am totally extroverted but honestly, I may be more of an INTROVERT! I keep to myself when I work out, hate work out classes, etc… And I LOVE staying in at night! HA HA!

    Yes, a lot of posts I personally love sometimes don’t do as well as others – but oh well – I’ve been on this rodeo for slightly over a year so loads to learn right?!
    I do track my stats – been trying to monetize a tad and most companies ask about my stats.

  18. I worry that I obsess about my stats, but it seems like I can’t really do anything beyond the basics to influence them. I’ve been blogging regularly for a little more than a year now.

    And, it looks like I’m like a lot of your commenters where some of my favorite posts get the least attention. But people like lists of reasons why I have a love/hate my boobs, or eighteen ways my kids are assholes, stuff like that. Sometimes it impacts my enthusiasm for writing.
