Hello! Happy Thursday. This week I’m doing another Socrates post. The last one was sort of fitnessy, so this one focuses more on food.


I guess it goes without saying I’ve been thinking a lot about food lately 😀

    Lately I’ve been loving me some quinoa, chickpeas, and avocado. Also… chocolate… but that’s more of a committed relationship rather than the occasional flings I have with other foods.

  4. lately i’ve been obsessed with anything crockpot because it’s SO easy. next week i will be making pulled pork. i’m not a fan but my husband has been asking me so i found a recipe and we’ll see how that turns out.

    I think I cook eggs most often – actually, I know I do. Everyday, sometimes twice a day if I’m feeling particularly lazy. Eggs and avocado is a big favourite of mine this week.

    Foods I can’t live without: Fresh fruit, cheese, bread, and chocolate

    Things I’ve been making: mostly baked goods, today it’s a lemon blueberry cheesecake with gingersnap crust for my FIL’s birthday

    My Drink: Still water because I’m still nursing and the one night I tried to have some wine I could barely finish a 4oz glass and still got a hang over the next morning! So sad and so far from my pre-baby days!

    I’m the furthest from paleo but that one is brilliant and the oatmeal one is an obvious favourite.
    What I find myself cooking most often? Soup lady right here. Not my favourite meal ever but the least work-intense kind of dish to prep for work lunches.

  16. Haha this is so clever :) my favorite food AND what I’ve been cooking with most often are eggs. I can’t get enough! Egg sandwiches especially. Nommm. I try every week to cut back on cheese and chocolate and it’s just not happening. I can’t cut those out of my life!
